PIANOCYCLE, a Minnesota based Public Benefit Company, relocates, reuses, and recycles acoustic pianos in the Twin Cities area. We plan to expand to other US markets in the coming years.
Rates for piano upcycle/recycle start at $299 for small upright pianos. Rates increase for large uprights, grands, moves with interior stairs, and distances greater than 20 miles from Minneapolis. We will do our best to gift your piano to a local family if your piano still works and holds a tune. If a home cannot be found, the metal from your piano will be responsibly recycled and the wood will be upcycled for various creative projects.
Upon receiving a piano in good working condition, we add it to our online inventory, ready to find a new home. These pre-loved pianos are available free of charge, and all new piano owners need to pay is a modest delivery fee starting at $88 for pianos under 40" and with delivery locations within 20 miles of Minneapolis and on the main level of your home. Please note, deliveries involving stairs, locations beyond the 20-mile radius, and for pianos greater than 40" may incur additional charges.
If a piano is beyond its play days, we ensure it leaves a legacy. The wood is donated to local artists and hobbyists for various creative projects, and the metal components are responsibly recycled. We are currently only available in Minneapolis/St. Paul and surrounding metro, but we are coming soon to other large markets in the Midwest. Receive a FREE Quote Today!
